"Hands down the best Korean banchan in the US. It’s not a lot of selection but they’re amazing at what they offer. Handmade mandoo is the best & kimchee I’ve been waiting for them to reopen since their old location closed due to a condo construction"

"Everything is delicious. (I've tried almost everything). Price is on point. If you try to go anywhere else, the price is either doubled or the quantity is half of what you get from this place. The side dishes are very fresh. When I first came here when it opened, I was slightly disappointed but now, this is the only place I shop at for banchan. Price: 5/5 best in town"

"I am Korean, and was looking for some good kimchi. I was told h Mart's kimchi is okay but banton House is best. So I went there and was pleasantly surprised at some of the offerings they had. This is not a sit-in restaurant. It's simply just a grab-and-go grocer. All different kinds of Korean side dishes and wonderful kimchi. The kimchi is amazing and i would recommend it. Parking is a little tight. The owner is super sweet. Lot of Korean people shop here so that means it's authentic and it's good. They sell large quantities of kimchi in a plastic bag so be prepared, you need a container to put it in."

"Walk into the small shop that's full of so many choices. Best kimchi I've had to this day, besides my wife's dad's kimchi. Meat jun is absolutely delicious. Can't stop eating it, even when my stomach is about to burst. Pagimchi has been great. Got the mandu today to theow in some deokguk. A little saltier than our own, but massive and VERY tasty. Service was excellent all 3 times. I sliced my finger on the edge of the kimchi container, and the man rushed to get me a Bandaid immediately. Always so nice to us, and remembers us whenever we come in since the first time."

"Been looking for this place since they had to vacate their location under the big tree on Keeaumoku St to make room for The Plaza at Keeaumoku. Glad to find them thriving in a new location very close to where they were before."

"Has pre-portioned Korean side dishes and some cooked foods such as fish jun and beef with peppers. All take out. Not a restaurant."
